When this book was first suggested I wasn't too sure how I would feel about it. But once I started reading it I couldn't put it down. I have to go to work in the morning and I swear I stayed up reading because I just couldn't stop. I love how Jason ignored the rules of the hood and didn't mind his own business and took care of Cherish. Her mom and Caesar got what they had coming to them. It's crazy how people close to you act like they want to see you happy but they really don't and will turn on you because of the jealousy. I was so glad that Cherish got to meet people who genuinely loved and cared about her enough to come looking for her. I hope Meeka got the bullet right between the eyes and that Jason is okay. He has to be he's a main character right? Honestly i hope book 2 comes very soon so I can remember what happened in the first book without having to go back and read it again. Very outstanding book kept me on my feet the entire time will be getting part 2 recommend everyone to read
I actually enjoyed this book. Her mom was the worse but when she met Mega I was rooting for them and love the way their story unraveled. I must say I hated the ending. I hope there is a book two that gives their love a chance.
From the moment I picked this book up I couldn't put it down it took me one day to read it that's how good it was.don't wanna give away to much but please go and one click to find out why it's all that. Mz Toni keep up the good work and god bless 😊

I love this book. Lil Mama had a rough life. The people who she relied on, hurt her the most. Until one day she had to grow up fast. This book will not disappoint you..... Mz.Toni I'm so waiting patiently on part 2.

I like Mega from the start. He is down to earth and caring. However, I was a little suspect when he paid Cherish mom to keep her. That seems to be like she was somebody property. The constant sick abuse she continuously received was a little too much for me. I think that the author went too far with the sexual abuse. We get the point. I dislike when author always present to us young girls that are weak mentally and then expect them to be mature when dealing with grown men. Cherish you need some backbone. Even when you was face with getting killed you still could not pull the trigger. If Mega had not been there at the end you would have been dead. I just cannot see Mega dead at the end.
